The story

A full-house renovation — kitchen, living room, baths, and a kid's room that grew up with him.

We took the house room by room. The kitchen opened up under a new skylight, with a marble island, handmade subway tile, and brass fixtures against soft white cabinetry. The living room got warm oak floors, a tiled fireplace, and furniture you can actually sit in. Upstairs, the baths were reworked in white subway and Carrara — one with a navy vanity for a little nerve — and a kid's room was kept light and easy. It reads as one house now, not a series of decades.
