For most of my life, I've kept my opinions about design to myself.

I'd notice what I'd change the moment I walked into a room, but I'd hold it in — worried that having a point of view meant being too much.

I don't feel that way anymore.

Design has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was constantly rearranging my bedroom furniture or choosing a new paint color and starting on the walls — sometimes before my parents knew what was happening.

That instinct eventually became a career. I've spent years designing beautiful office spaces, renovating homes, managing construction projects, and bringing ideas to life.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that having a point of view isn't something to hide. It's one of my greatest strengths.

That realization became McArthur Design Studios.

I believe beautiful spaces should feel warm, welcoming, and personal — and that good design should be approachable, not intimidating. You don't need to know the right terminology, have an unlimited budget, or know exactly what you want before asking for help.

Sometimes you just need someone who can see the potential, listen to what you love, and help bring it all together.

My job isn't to make your space look like mine. It's to bring experience, instinct, and a thoughtful eye to the process so we can create a space that feels unmistakably you.

This may be the beginning of McArthur Design Studios, but in many ways, it's something I've been working toward my whole life.
