The story

A backyard reworked into three rooms — dining, lounging, and lawn — under an old oak.

The yard had good bones and no plan. We laid a wide bluestone terrace off the sliders and split it into zones: a long teak table under the retractable awning, a lounge with a fire bowl, and the grills tucked to one side. A curved paver path pulls you out across the lawn to raised steel planter beds along the fence line, with the mature oak left to do what it does. The house opens straight into it now.
